Alan Schmitt has worn many hats in his sixty-plus years of life experiences. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam conflict. For the past forty years, he has served in pastoral ministry, education, sales, marketing, and corporate administration. Most of his experience has been as a local pastor. Alan has been married for forty-five years and has two grown daughters and five grandchildren. His favorite passage of scripture, what he considers his life credo, is Isaiah 40:28-31 (NKJV): "Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable.
