By mere chance, a cowboy herding cattle in a remote section on his ranch stumbles upon a broken strongbox filled with documents and tape recordings. The rancher, curious about the contents of the box, listens to the tapes and becomes the first human to pierce the inner circle of a mysterious group of otherworldly beings called Darksiders.
No one knows who or what recorded the bizarre "award" ceremony heard on the tapes. Hosted by a high-ranking Infernal Affairs bureaucrat named Screwover, the Darksiders are apparently celebrating their nefarious deeds and achievements over the past two millennia. As each honoree is called to the podium, it becomes increasingly clear that the Darksiders have used organized religion, political ambition, and capitalist greed to further their evil agenda.
The transcript becomes more and more fascinating as Darksider after Darksider describes his award-winning infiltration and dissipation of world leaders from Harry Truman to George W. Bush. Who knows how the Darksiders have changed the course of history and the fate of mankind?
