The numbers and prices will generally explain each article, and are sufficient description when ordering.
Goods ordered to be sent by mail should be registered, and are mailed at buyer's risk.
Postage is added to the cost of goods.
The Post-Office accepts no liquids of any kind.
Cash on delivery orders will be sent by express, with privilege of examining before paying if desired; a moderate sum, about equal to cost of expressage back and forth is requested with the order. The express charges for return of money to be added to bill.
Every care is observed in the packing of goods and no responsibility is assumed by the shipper for breakages or loss in transit.
Rolls of drawing paper should be ordered to be boxed; the damage done by twine marks and other injuries frequently amounts to more than the cost of a box.
Packing boxes and cartages are charged at cost.
Owing to the miscellaneous nature of goods, in this line of business, many of which are of foreign make, variations in values of materials, etc., may cause alterations in prices, which are subject to change without notice.
Terms are cash, payable by Bank Draft, Post-Office or Express Money Order or otherwise, in New York City. Bank Notes are less liable to go astray if sent by registered mail.
To satisfy the purchaser has been, and always shall be, the aim.
