| Jim Nash's P.I. business has been slow. A friend walks in and tells him he's needed for a job. Although she's light on details, he accepts.
Alarm bells ring when he learns the job is for the feds. He's worked off the books for them before. He always ended up holding the short end of the stick.
With no further information forthcoming, Jim demands to be paid up front.
His customer walks down the stairs and out of the building, and Jim figures the job offer flew out the door with her.
Much to his surprise, she returns to let him know his demands are acceptable.
Now Jim must meet hers. To do so, he's forced to turn to Harry Delaney. |
