The U.S. Constabulary by their actions brought law and order, stability, and security to the American Zone of Occupation. This enabled the Germans with their industriousness and determination and with the assistance of American Military Government personnel in place to take control of their own Police and Government responsibilities bringing a sense of normalcy to the German people.
