| When Jack Burns quits the army and returns to the only home he knows - his best friend, Elliot Talbott - he is prepared for all sorts of shenanigans. They are what he and Elliot are famous for, after all. He's not prepared, however, for all the unpredictable events to come.
His unrequited love for Elliot becoming requited at last is one. The crazy maybe-paranormal cases resulting from Elliot's latest scheme, Talbott and Burns Investigations - We explain the inexplicable are another.
And finally, the unforeseen fallout when Elliot inherits a pocket watch, a secret code and a skeleton in the family closet from his Great Uncle Ricky.
Because Elliot has been hiding something from Jack for the last decade: his ability to read objects and people with a touch; a curse that's brought nothing but pain.
It's all fun and games until someone is provably psychic and suddenly Elliot's world is ending. The only hope for Jack and Elliot might be in getting to the source of Elliot's queer inheritance. |
