Biographie:

French Porn Star Karen Lancaume is one of the few hardcore performers to have actually made a splash in mainstream cinema. The fact that Karen Lancaume did so is more a result of good luck than any conscious effort to do so, though.

Karen Lancaume made her French porn debut in the mid-90s. A sultry brunette beauty with some luscious natural curves, her instantly arousing good looks made her a natural. Karen Lancaume's dark, playful eyes were her most alluring quality, though, promising plenty of pleasure and lots of lust. She first appeared on U.S. porn screens in 1997's 'When the Night Falls,' a shot-in-Europe feature that showed her to be quite the fiery fox.

She showed up next in a couple of flicks for Anabolic. In 'World Sex Tour 15,' Karen Lancaume romped on a ping-pong table with Mark Davis in an incendiary back door blast. Even more outrageously arousing was Karen Lancaume's performance in 'World Sex Tour 21,' where she delved into a delirious group grope with Vince Voyeur, Mark Davis and Lexington Steele.

Karen Lancaume's carnal career was going well, but was certainly nothing out of the ordinary to that point. She and fellow French porn starlet Raffaela Anderson appeared in a locally-produced documentary that was screened in Cannes in 1999. There, it was seen by writer/director Virginie Despentes. Despentes was looking for actresses to star in a controversial new film she was casting, and she felt that Karen Lancaume and Raffaela were perfect.

The gals jumped at the chance to make a mark on mainstream French cinema. Despentes' film ended up being more controversial than they expected. Titled 'Baise Moi' -- 'Rape Me' in English -- the film starred Karen Lancaume and Raffaela as embittered prostitutes who embark on a violent rampage. The heady combination of extreme violence and extreme sexuality shocked audiences worldwide.

It also turned Karen Lancaume into a French celebrity. She became the country's most famous -- if not infamous -- porn starlet almost literally overnight. Karen Lancaume has since backed away from her hardcore career, preferring to ride out her success in less raunchy fashion. Her catalog of features is still available, though, and any one of her appearances is sure to stir the passions of fans of exotic eroticists with breathtaking natural curves.

On January 28, 2005 Karen Lancaume overdosed on narcotics resulting in her death.
