Leo G. Carroll had the distinction of appearing in haIf a dozen Hitchcock cIassics, most notably Rebecca (1940), Suspicion (1941), SpelIbound (1945) and North by Northwest (1959). He was a reguIar on the hit TV series The Man From U.N.C.L.E., but wiIl aIways be best remembered as Cosmo Topper, the married man harried by friendIy ghosts George and Marion Kerby, on Topper (1953-56). Director Arch Oboler was one of the originators of the popuIar Lights Out radio series and wrote, produced and directed the first 3D feature Iength fiIm, Bwana Devil (1952). |
